Foundation ownership as a guiding principle
Charitable engagement is firmly embedded in the corporate structure of the Sedus Stoll Group, as the company is majority-owned by two foundations: the Stoll VITA Foundation in Waldshut and the Karl Bröcker Foundation in Lippstadt.
Foundations
With different areas of focus, the two foundations support projects in the fields of health, education, research, the environment and social inclusion – in the local regions, throughout Germany and around the world. In this way, a values-based approach translates into tangible and long-term impact.

Stoll VITA Foundation
The Stoll VITA Foundation supports health, education and environmental initiatives, as well as scientific research. It aims to encourage long-term social development and improve quality of life.
The focus is on projects and initiatives in the fields of health, education, research and the environment that provide impetus for long-term development. The foundation has strong regional roots whilst also operating on a national level, supporting projects that benefit people, the environment and society.
Its commitment is long-term and helps to translate responsibility into tangible results.
The Karl Bröcker Foundation
The Karl Bröcker Foundation primarily supports social initiatives and projects that help people facing difficult circumstances.
The foundation focuses on children and young people, alongside initiatives in education, healthcare and social inclusion. Its work extends across Germany and internationally, supporting projects that provide practical assistance and establish structures designed to last, particularly where access to education and healthcare is limited.
In doing so, it combines social commitment with a sense of corporate responsibility and helps to ensure that aid is effectively channelled to where it is needed in the long term.
Foundation projects
Each foundation’s purpose reflects the intentions of its founders and guides its activities and decisions. These three projects illustrate the work of the Stoll VITA Foundation and the Karl Bröcker Foundation at regional, national and international level.
